Once again, bad luck struck with this song, tipped to win the 1980 Song For Europe Contest and represent the UK at Eurovision. Just days prior to the contest the BBC were informed that the New Seekers had already performed the song on TV. This was correct but the group thought that the show had never been broadcast and so were not breaking any rules. Sadly they were forced to withdraw, one of their biggest career disappointments as an album package and backing from EMI rested on the song's success. After recovering from the shock the group had to be content with the song simply being released as a single which despite Television exposure didn't chart.
Written by Brian Engel. Released July 1980. Produced by Marty Kristian and Paul Layton. EMI 5055.
B Side One Step Closer To Heaven. Written by Brian Engel, Marty Kristian and Paul Layton.
A combination of pop and rock here for the group on their final single for EMI. Brians voice suits perfectly the raunchy introduction into the smoother chorus.

Let The Bells Ring Out Forever
Written by Brian Engel and Dave Hewson. Released December 1985. Produced by Brian Engel and Dave Heson. Tomcat records TNS1.
Lead vocal Donna. B side It won't be the same. Written and produced by Marty Kristian and Paul Layton.
Classic New Seekers on a Christmas song with Donna's powerful voice softening here to mix with festive bells and a strong chorous from the boys. This should have been a Christmas hit.
